About the series
In preparation for industry 4.0 - the fourth industrial revolution, Manchester Met’s Faculty of Science and Engineering is developing its overarching academic vision to grow research in quantity and quality, to transform the delivery and shape of its education portfolio and to build partnerships.
At the forefront of this journey is our development of a Digital Twin, a smart electronic duplicate of our new state-of-the-art facilities which are currently under construction. Our Digital Twin enables Researchers to test and simulate changes to the Dalton building’s infrastructure and systems to determine how they and the occupying workforce will be affected.
